“It’s Showtime” made a spectacular comeback and debuted strongly on its new and earlier timeslot at 11:30 am on weekdays with exhilarating new segments, “It’s Showdown” and “Funanghalian,” that trended on social media last Monday, October 30.

Netizens expressed their delightedness in seeing the ABS-CBN’s hit noontime show return to its classic roots and featuring the amazing talents of Filipinos in dancing in “It’s Showdown,” while having a dose of laughter with the banters of hosts in “Funanghalian.”

In “It’s Showdown,” two groups will face each other in ‘Hatawan-on- one’ and ‘Dance Showdown’ to impress the judges.

In the first round, each group will choose one representative to do a dance-off in the Dance Arena, while in the second round, both groups will showcase their prepared pieces. In the event of a tie, the hosts will pick one member from each group that will do a solo showdown.

On its maiden episode, AMK Rock Nation was declared the winner after they garnered a total score of 4.2 points from judges World of Dance country director Vimi Rivera, Star Magic head choreographer Mickey Perz at “ASAP’s” Queen of the Dancefloor Kim Chiu.

Meanwhile in “Funanghalian,” a pair of “It’s Showtime” hosts need to match their answers with each other in the categories given to them.
