The third mobile police outpost of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) has been deployed along Diosdado Macapagal Boulevard in Barangay Tambo, Parañaque City as part of strengthened crime prevention measures through immediate police response.
In a statement Wednesday, NCRPO chief Brig. Gen. Jonnel Estomo, said the outpost is located at the Entertainment City adjacent to the City of Dreams.
Estomo said the mobile outpost sustains genuine police visibility where patrollers are on standby and ready to assist the public in times of emergencies and extend safety services as the need arises.
“This is the third in a series of S.A.F.E. (Seen, Appreciated, and Felt by the people through Extraordinary actions) NCRPO rolling outposts to be established in areas of concern within the metropolis. This is also to make sure that police presence is always seen and felt,” he added.
Estomo said the mobile outpost was designed as movable to be easily transferred to places that demand police presence, particularly in crime-prone areas, terminals, transportation hubs, and places of convergence to deter crimes and maintain order.
“In observance of Undas 2022, (the) mobile outpost will also be posted at the most crowded cemeteries in the region,” he added.
The first mobile outpost was deployed to the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX), also in Barangay Tambo, on Sept. 27 while the second outpost was deployed to an area near the approach of the Skyway ramp along Macapagal Boulevard.
“As we intensify our S.A.F.E NCRPO program, the public will be expecting more mobile police outposts to be deployed in strategic areas here in the region,” Estomo said. (PNA)
