The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Antique is calling on owners of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) to enroll for the Kapatid Mentor ME (KMME) online program.<\/p>\n
DTI-Antique Director Mary Jade Gonzales said in an interview Friday that there will be 20 slots for two batches of KMME for this year.<\/p>\n
\u201cDTI Antique will be hosting the online session of the second batch of KMME so we are now looking for 20 mentees,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
Interested MSMEs may coordinate with their Negosyo Center (NC) counsellors.<\/p>\n
To qualify, applicants should have existing enterprises where they could apply their learnings from the modules on marketing, financial literacy, operations management and product development.<\/p>\n
Gonzales said the first program graduates in Antique were the first to form a credit cooperative in Western Visayas, assisting their members and other MSMEs regarding startup capital.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Kami Antique Credit Cooperative is a success story of the KMME,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, the DTI will open a new Negosyo (Business) Center in Barangay Semirara, Caluya within the year.<\/p>\n
