Xavier Jesus Romualdo said the &#8220;Womb&#8221; program aims to encourage prenatal checkups for safe pregnancies and healthy infants.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We also want to encourage our pregnant mothers to always go for check-ups to ensure a safe pregnancy and healthy infants,&#8221; Romualdo said in an interview.<\/p>\n<p>The program distributed newborn clothing sets, baby supplies and strollers to 48 pregnant mothers and recent mothers who completed the required eight prenatal checkups.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2022, the province has supported maternal and child health, building on the national Department of Health&#8217;s Safe Motherhood Program.
