<\/p>\nRock band RadRed, formerly known as Jose Carlito band, introduced its upbeat summer single \u201cMr. Sun\u201d about the spark in one\u2019s life that keeps everyone going.<\/p>\n

The band\u2019s frontman JC Padilla wrote and produced the song that was released under ABS-CBN\u2019s Star Music label.<\/p>\n
“\u2019Mr. Sun\u2019 is about finding meaning in life and appreciating its beauty,\u201d shared JC. \u201cIt\u2019s a call to the sun to shine on those who have fallen to help them forget their sadness.\u201d<\/p>\n
RadRed is a four-piece band composed of JC on vocals, Katsumi Kabe on guitars, JZ Lorenzo on bass, and Bryan Tuazon on drums. Together they bring a modern flavor to the 90\u2019s rock and 70\u2019s blues rock. Previously, the band released the songs \u201cDystopia,\u201d \u201cAt Kahit,\u201d \u201cBig White Wall,\u201d Blankong Imahe,\u201d and many more.<\/p>\n
The band decided to change its name to \u2018RadRed\u2019 to represent \u201ca bold departure from the norm and a powerful journey of personal or collective change,\u201d combining the words \u2018radical\u2019 and \u2018redemption\u2019 into one.<\/p>\n
JC said, \u201cWith this name, our band aims to create music that breaks boundaries, evokes strong emotions, and inspires positive transformation.\u201d<\/p>\n
