Coach Bamboo\u2019s Kamp Kawayan clinched a second championship in \u201cThe Voice Kids\u201d as Shane Bernabe, the Kiddie Pop Rockstar of Laguna, was named grand champion on Sunday (May 21).<\/p>\n

Shane received 51.05% combined online votes on Saturday (May 20) and Sunday (May 21), making her this season\u2019s young artist who stood out from the rest.<\/p>\n

As the grand champion, she received a P1 million cash prize and a recording and management contract with Universal Music Group Philippines.<\/p>\n

\u201cSinabi ko po sa kanila na kahit sino po \u2018yung manalo, winner na po talaga kami at winner na rin po kami sa family namin,\u201d Shane shared.<\/p>\n

She also said she would like to collaborate again with coach Bamboo in the future.<\/p>\n

During the live grand finals, Shane sang \u201cSomewhere Over The Rainbow\u201d with Bamboo for the \u201cDuet with Coach\u201d segment and electrified audiences with her rendition of \u201cSirena\u201d in the \u201cUpbeat Showstopper\u201d showcase.<\/p>\n

For her power ballad, Shane gave it her all, belting out \u201cSino Ang Baliw\u201d in the final showdown.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, coach Bamboo praised Shane for her performance in the competition.<\/p>\n

The OPM rock icon also shared that the announcement of Shane as grand champion felt special because his first \u201cThe Voice Kids\u201d champion, Elha Nympha, was also present at the venue.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, Rai Fernandez, the Emotional Balladeer of Camarines Sur from Martin Nievera\u2019s MarTeam, ranked second with 40.65% combined online votes, while Xai Martinez, the Enchanting Siren of Caloocan City from KZ Tandingan\u2019s Team Supreme, got 8.30% combined online votes.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Voice Kids\u201d Season 5 ended on a high note as it recorded over 290,000 combined views over the weekend.<\/p>\n

It also became the number one trending topic on Twitter over the weekend and registered multiple trending topics.<\/p>\n

Moira dela Torre, the country\u2019s most streamed female artist and former \u201cThe Voice\u201d contestant, also joined in the fun and serenaded the crowd during the final showdown.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Voice Kids\u201d Season 5 was hosted by Robi Domingo, Bianca Gonzalez-Intal, and Jolina Magdangal-Escueta as guest co-host of the grand finals, while \u201cThe Voice Kids\u201d DIGITV was hosted by Elha Nympha and Jeremy G with guest co-host Lorraine Galvez.<\/p>\n
